What to Include in a Teacher Email Signature
Full Name and Title
Include your title: Mr., Mrs., Ms., Miss, Dr., or Professor. This sets the right formal tone for school communications.
Subject and Year Group
e.g., 'Head of English | Years 9–13' or 'Science Teacher, KS3 & KS4'. This helps parents immediately understand your role.
School Name
Your school's full official name. If you have a school logo, use it as a small image (keep under 50KB).
School Phone Number
The main school number or your department's direct line. Include an extension if you have one.
School Email Address
Use your official school email (.sch.uk, .edu, or your school domain). Avoid personal email addresses for school communications.
Office Hours (optional)
If you're regularly emailing parents and students outside school hours, a brief note like 'Available: Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm' manages expectations.
